Partner with SIYSS

Partnering with Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar is to invest in the young people today that will go on to become the scientific leaders of tomorrow

SIYSS promotes two purposes:

  • The international view on Sweden as a leading research and innovation nation.
  • Young peoples understanding of and exposure to science. Who can actually be a scientist?

It all starts with inspiration

As a partner of SIYSS you support our international participants in furthering their scientific careersbut ou are also part of inspiring Swedish high school and university students. At the seminar, students get to listen to cutting edge scientific research conducted by young researchers who are close to the students in age. The seminar provides an opportunity to find out what paths are available within the field of science and technology. Perhaps one of these paths includes your company or organization?

Since 1976, SIYSS has been a catalyst for innovation, intercultural understanding and a free-flowing exchange of ideas across borders. Every year, we gather some of the world’s most talented young scientists in Stockholm for a week-long program full of scientific and cultural events. We make sure the participants come in contact with Swedish science and technology companies, academic and cultural institutions.

Unga Forskare creates a meaningful future

There are barriers for children and young people to pursue their interest in science and technology; often, the necessary resources are lacking to pursue an interest, and the role models may be limited. That’s something we want to change.

Unga Forskare exists for all children and young people in Sweden. We continuously work to ensure that more young people have access to opportunities and resources to explore their science interests. We support, encourage, and inspire young people in science and technology. We give them the chance to meet peers, access knowledge, and take on challenges that help them grow and develop.

Each year, we organize national meeting places and competitions, award national and international scholarships, engage in classrooms as mentors, lead summer schools, host experiment demonstrations, inspire at science days, support local associations, and much more.

Join us in lowering the scientific barriers for children and young people in Sweden.
